whisk
the cooking in my kitchen is getting more complex. a blueberry buckle was prepared on friday night from a recipe that alton brown made. it's kind of like a coffee cake with blueberries--minus cinnamon, plus nutmeg. the sugary crumble crust is always my favorite part. there's still some left over if you would like a snack.

Dear Sister,
What are you using to create your drawings? Your paper has a slightly bluish tinge. What type is it? And are you using pens and pencils?
I like your whisk a lot, but I'd like some blueberry buckle more.
i'm just using bristol board, but i drop it into photoshop to get the whites a little whiter than they show up in the scans.
and i'm using pen and then i add watercolor afterward.
oh my goodness, that sounds so delicious. i hope there's some left over -- i think i'm coming tonight!
